Hello, and welcome to what has been a tumultuous couple of weeks! I have the pleasure in announcing that after quite a number of months looking for suitable premises and staff in the U.K. we have finally opened our UK office.
We have found a reseller for our award winning software, in the form of Ian Allen and his established company UR Store Self Storage consultants. Ian has many years experience within the UK self storage industry and his company is well founded and respected among self storage in the UK. That said, we welcome him to the best self storage software company on the planet, and hope that he enjoys selling it as much as we enjoy making it.
In setting up the UK office, it brings to 4 the total number of successful offices that StorMan has around the planet, and highlights to me the universal appeal and dedicated following that great software produces. I would like to thank all those "Stormanites" around the world who have supported us and continue to support us in our quest to make you the best storage software we can.
As many of you would know, it is my single greatest pleasure to introduce new features to our software and I’m pleased to say that we released three of these last week at the SSAA conference in Perth, Western Australia. These were StorPay, Online reservations and the interface to StorerCheck.
I will say that these were received exceptionally well by all those who looked at them and I am pleased to say that we have already had very constructive feedback on how we can improve them all, right off the bat. This is fantastic, as it really is your software - and we are always working with our customers on ways to improve it. I will detail each one of these with screen shots and the like over the next few weeks but for anyone who would like more information please don’t hesitate to call any one of our Sales offices around the world and we would be more than pleased to fill you in on whatever product you would like more information on.
While on the topic of the conference, I would like to thank everyone who attended. There is nothing better than flying all the way to Perth (some 5000km from Brisbane) to have a massive turnout like we did last week. For those who didn’t attend, all I can say is that you better not miss it next year as we have some more great features on the way.
To those of you who are super organised, the conference next year will be held on the Gold Coast Mariott and I can thoroughly recommend that venue as one where you can work but still play hard. So to all of you from one side of the StorMan world to the other I wish you success and great business opportunities even in these financially troubled times and until next time, keep safe.
